Another wonderful event presented by the hardworking and talented people at Nomad Arts and Hype. The Art of Skateboarding is a charity fundraiser event held at the Janette Kennedy Gallery, South Side on Lamar on Nov, 7th, 2009. The walls was filled with 200 skateboards on display, all designed by celebrity artists, local artists, student artists and photographers. All the skateboards were auctioned off throughout the evening of cocktails and appetizers.
This fundraiser event will benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. The proceeds will help TSRHC to continue to provide the highest quality medical care to thousands of Texas children. TSRHC treats Texas children, from birth to age 18, with orthopedic conditions, such as scoliosis, clubfoot, hand disorders, hip disorders, limb-length differences, as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders at no charge to patient families.
The family and I had a lot of fun throughout the evening. Watching the guys doing their stunts on the ramp was awesome. One of them was Jon Comer is the first professional amputee skateboarder. A former TSRHC patient for more than 10 years, Jon wears a Prosthetic Limb. I couldn’t help but purchasing one of the board for my wife Nancy. I am hoping to create my own skateboard next year to do my part in spreading the love.

This morning, as I am looking out the windows of my home office, it is 55F, wet, cold, windy with heavy dark clouds. It feels like a big bad winter is barking loudly at my doors. Just a few days ago, Dallas weather was Southern California perfect and what had seemed to last forever, I [...]

I love having a Saturday off every once in a while. I definitely haven’t gotten tired of covering weddings yet, but a Saturday off is great for taking the family out on the town. We love to party together. One of the few things our family share in common is the love for art and [...]

I normally spend around 45mins to 90mins on an engagement session. Michelle, Donnie and I spent practically most of the day together. After getting her hair and makeup done by my wife Nancy, we headed to Richardson City Hall, where there were a large patch of Texas wild flowers. It was mid day when we [...]

We love working with Olysea. I enjoy photographing her and my wife Nancy loves doing her hair and makeup. My wife says her skin is like a blank piece of canvas which is so easy to apply makeup and she can sit patiently for hours for hair and makeup as if she had done it [...]
